Fuller, Natural-Looking Brows. Without the Daily Pencil Routine.
Eyebrow transplantation uses your own hair to produce results that are permanent and grow naturally. No filling in, no fading, no repeat appointments.
For many women, eyebrow care is a routine they have managed for years, sometimes decades. Whether the thinning is the result of over-plucking, natural changes over time, a medical condition, or the after-effects of a previous cosmetic procedure, filling in and shaping sparse brows takes time and never quite looks the way you want it to.
Eyebrow transplantation offers a permanent alternative. The procedure uses real hair from your own scalp, placed one follicle at a time into the brow area, producing results that grow, can be shaped, and are indistinguishable from natural brow hair.
Why Eyebrows Become Sparse
Eyebrows can become thin or patchy for a number of reasons. Over-plucking over many years is one of the most common causes: repeated removal can damage the follicle permanently, so hair no longer regrows even when plucking stops. Natural thinning with age also affects brow density, just as it affects scalp hair. Medical conditions including thyroid disorders and alopecia areata can cause patchy or significant brow loss. Previous cosmetic procedures, including some laser treatments, can also affect follicle health.
How the Procedure Works
Follicles are taken from the back of the scalp, where hair closely matches brow hair in texture and growth characteristics. They are placed individually into the brow area in precisely the direction and angle that produces the most natural result. The shape and density of the brow is planned in detail with your surgeon beforehand.
The transplanted hairs shed in the weeks following the procedure. This is entirely normal and expected. New growth begins within three to four months, with full results visible at around twelve months.
One thing worth knowing: transplanted brow hair grows at the rate of scalp hair, which means it will need occasional trimming. Most patients consider this a minor consideration compared to the daily routine it replaces.
How it Compares
How it Compares to Other Options
Microblading
Produces results that look natural initially but fade over time and require regular top-up appointments. The results are drawn onto the skin. They are not hair.
Tinting & lamination
Cosmetic treatments work with whatever hair is already there. They can improve the appearance of thinning brows but cannot replace what is no longer present.
Transplantation
The only option that permanently restores actual hair. For women with significant or long-term loss, it is the only approach that produces truly lasting results.
Am I a Suitable Candidate?
The procedure is suitable for most women with sparse, thin or patchy brows, regardless of cause. At your consultation, your surgeon will assess whether you have a suitable donor supply, whether there is any underlying medical cause worth addressing first, and what results are realistically achievable in your particular case.
